I don’t know what I’m feeling but I’m always looking for the truth.
It would be a lie to say that I don’t like to lean against you.
Here’s something real to the core.
my favorite part is the moment before,
the second between
what your body language says and what you mean,
if you want to know what keeps me awake at night it’s this:
the memory of your breath on my lips,
the static electricity between skin just inches apart,
the dub in the lubdub beat of your heart
the moment between the reach and the touch,
the split second between enough and too much
that’s what I like best, if I could, I would live in your chest at the moment between exhale and inhale, where there’s nothing in your lungs but anticipation.
